What the service does
Columns sends rows from your spreadsheet to a judgment model and returns a typed answer with a confidence number for each one.
Answers are judgments, not facts
Every answer is a probabilistic judgment and some of them will be wrong. That is why each one carries its confidence and its full distribution, and why the product surfaces the rows it is least sure about. Do not use Columns as the sole basis for a decision with legal, financial, employment, medical or safety consequences. Check the rows it flags.
Your data
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You are responsible for having the right to upload it, including where it contains personal data about other people.
Billing
Plans are priced on row-questions — one question evaluated against one row — and never per seat. Cached answers are not billed again. Runs stop when a plan's included row-questions are used up rather than billing beyond them; you are warned at 80%. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled, which you can do at any time from the billing portal.
Fair use
Uploads are rate limited per account. Do not use the service to process data you are not entitled to, or to build a competing judgment service by bulk-extracting answers.
Availability
The service is provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee. It depends on third parties, including the model provider, and can be interrupted by them.
